The crown top finial fitted to this low profile base rope stanchion is our most popular and can be seen in all environments from red carpet events to airports. Elegance features a forged universal rope loop allowing it to accept ropes from any direction.
Elegance is available in five stock finishes. Black is ubiquitous and blends with a wide range of décor. Polished Stainless Steel has a mirror chrome like finish and works well in modern settings. Satin Stainless has a more muted look that suits formal environments such as banks and libraries. Polished brass is the most time-honored finish for rope stanchions and is ideal for traditional settings such as hotel lobbies and casinos. Finally satin brass provides a less bold version of polished brass and is a good choice for more subdued settings.
The stanchion finishes can be matched with any of our wide range of hanging ropes. We have ropes in velour (velvet), Naugahyde (leather like vinyl), braid and twisted polypropylene. Each of these types is available in a range of colors and lengths, we can also cut the ropes to your specific length requirements.
The low profile base rope stanchion is equipped with the premium cast iron base that is on our Elegance Stanchions. The base is fitted with a decorative cover that matches the post finish and can be replaced if it gets scratched or worn. Floors are protected from scuffs and scratching by the Elegance’s floor protector. This is heavy duty rubber ring stretched around the circumference of the base and will last the life of the stanchion. The full circumference design provides the best floor protection of any stanchion on the market. No matter what direction the stanchion is rolled or dragged the full circumference design gives protection to expensive flooring.
