The magnetic base belt barrier is designed for permanent queue layout but where the stanchion needs to be removed from time to time. This can be because the queue is not in use, to allow floor cleaning or simply to provide access to the queue area. The stanchion attaches to a steel floor plate with 6 x 30mm high strength magnets. The magnetic strength is strong enough to stop the stanchion being knocked out of alignment during everyday use but still allows the stanchion to be removed with a lateral pull on the post head. At only 1/16” thick the floor plate does not cause a trip hazard when the stanchion is removed and is well within the ADA and OSHA trip hazard guidelines.
The QueuePro 250 Magnetic features a sleek, contemporary design with the belt mechanism housed inside the 2.5” diameter post. Standard features include a belt brake for slow, safe belt retraction and a belt lock to prevent unintended belt release. Standard belt length is 11’with a 13’ option.
