RollerPro is designed to alleviate the problem of having to move heavy stanchions by lifting and carrying them. This model has a roller set into the base so the stanchion can be easily moved by simply tilting the post onto the roller and then pushing it using the post head.
The twin belt design of the RollerPro Twin 250 is a far more effective barrier for controlling queues or crowd movement than a single belt barrier. Single belt stanchions provide a visual guide to pedestrians whereas a twin belt stanchion forms an actual barrier. This model is recommended for large queue systems where the temptation to duck under the belt is greatest. The RollerPro Twin is also ideal for any application where restricting access is particularly important, such as security areas. Compliance with ADA regulations is an important requirement for all public facing organizations and no single belt stanchion meets ADA section 4.4.1 regarding “protruding objects”. The RollerPro Twin 250 does meet this requirement as the lower belt is less than 27” from the ground allowing it to be detected by the visually impaired using a cane.
A distinctive feature of the RollerPro Twin is its two piece post. With the simple removal of four screws the post can be separated in the center giving access to the lower belt cassette. This enables users to replace the lower belt in the field without having to return the stanchion to the manufacturer.
The cast iron base of the RollerPro has a low profile design to minimize trip hazard and to give the base a refined look. The base is fitted with a decorative cover that matches the post finish and can be replaced if it gets scratched or worn. Floors are protected from scuffs and scratching by the RollerPro’s full coverage floor protector. This heavy duty rubber pad covers the entire underside of the base and will last the life of the stanchion.
The RollerPro Twin 250 can be ordered in one of three stock finishes, black, polished stainless steel and satin stainless steel. Alternatively, we can customize the post and base with one of our specialized metal finishes such as Statuary Bronze, Pewter Nickel or Antique Brass. If you prefer specific colors to match your décor, we have a selection of over 200 custom powder coat colors to choose from.
