Part of our SafetyPro range the 300 Fixed model was introduced for forming long safety barriers and cordons which traditionally require a large number of stanchions. The 16’ belt length on this model halves the number of stanchions needed with the industry standard 7.5’ belt. This 16ft belt fixed base stanchion requires fewer stanchions mean reduced purchase cost, set up times and storage space needed when the stanchion is not in use.
The SafetyPro 300 Fixed is fitted with a 5” diameter flange with three screw holes for permanent surface mounting. Milled from a solid block of aluminum, the flange is weatherproof and designed to support the lateral loads a permanently fixed stanchion can be subjected to. An optional decorative flange cover is available. The very small diameter of the base flange makes this model ideal for high traffic areas where trip hazard may be a concern. The small diameter base is also useful where space is tight as the stanchions can be placed closer together than with a 14” diameter base of a portable stanchion.
This 16ft belt fixed base stanchion has the key safety features of a brake system for slow, safe belt retraction and a lock to prevent accidental belt release. Visibility is paramount to delineate restricted areas effectively. SafetyPro 250 Fixed is available in three vivid color options, yellow, red and orange as well as black. OSHA defines the use of these colors as yellow for caution, red for danger and orange as warning of equipment in use.
