The triple belt design provides the best physical barrier of any retractable belt barrier on the market. Three belts ensure that pedestrians will not duck under or climb through the belts. This model is recommended for higher security areas where the need to stop people ducking under the belt is particularly important. The SafetyPro Breakaway Triple 250 Fixed is significantly lower in cost than panels or other types of rigid barrier while its retractable feature makes it faster and easier to set up. This triple belt fixed base stanchion meets ADA section 4.4.1 regarding “protruding objects” as the lower belt is less than 27” from the ground which allows it to be detected by the visually impaired using a cane.
The SafetyPro Breakaway Triple 250 Fixed is fitted with a 5” diameter flange with three screw holes for permanent surface mounting. Milled from a solid block of aluminum, the flange is weatherproof and designed to support the lateral loads a permanently fixed stanchion can be subjected to. An optional decorative flange cover is available. The very small diameter of the base flange makes this model ideal for high traffic areas where trip hazard may be a concern. The small diameter base is also useful where space is tight as the stanchions can be placed closer together than with a 14” diameter base of a portable stanchion.
This triple belt fixed base stanchion has the key safety features of a brake system for slow, safe belt retraction and a lock to prevent accidental belt release. Visibility is paramount to delineate restricted areas effectively. SafetyPro Breakaway Triple 250 Fixed is available in three vivid color options, yellow, red and orange as well as black. OSHA defines the use of these colors as yellow for caution, red for danger and orange as warning of equipment in use.

This model also features a breakaway belt end that makes your queue or barrier safer. This is due to the magnetic breakaway belt ends that break away when sufficient force is applied. This ensures safety in the event of an accident or an emergency.
