The triple belt barrier design is unique to the QueuePro range and provides the best physical barrier of any retractable belt barrier on the market. Three belts guarantee that customers including children will be kept in line. We recommend this stanchion for applications where keeping pedestrian flows separated is important and for preventing access to closed areas. The QueuePro Triple is significantly lower in cost than panels or other types of rigid barrier while its retractable feature makes it faster and easier to set up a queue or cordon.
Compliance with ADA regulations is an important requirement for all public facing organizations and no single belt stanchion complies with the ADA section 4.4.1 regarding “protruding objects”. The QueuePro triple belt barrier meets this requirement as the lower belt is less than 27” from the ground which allows it to be detected by the visually impaired using a cane.
A distinctive feature of the QueuePro Triple is its three piece post. With the simple removal of four screws the post can be separated into three parts giving access to the lower belt cassettes. This enables users to replace the lower belts in the field without having to return the stanchion to the manufacturer.
The QueuePro’s cast iron base has a low profile design to minimize trip hazard and to give the base a refined look. The base is fitted with a decorative cover that matches the post finish and can be replaced if it gets scratched or worn. The floors are protected from scuffs and scratching by the QueuePro’s floor protector. This is a heavy duty rubber ring stretched around the circumference of the base and will last the life of the stanchion. The full circumference design provides the best floor protection of any stanchion on the market. No matter what direction the stanchion is rolled or dragged the full circumference design gives protection to expensive flooring.
