WeatherMaster is a tough portable barrier ideal for restricting access to work areas. This model features a heavy duty rubber base with a curved shape to reduce trip hazard and allow forklifts and pallet trucks to roll over it. The base also has carry handles for easy movement and being made of rubber cannot rust. The large 19” diameter of the base keeps the stanchion stable even in windy conditions without the need for excessive weight. This weatherproof belt barrier has a steel post for durability and is powder coated for weather proofing. Its belt mechanism is protected by being housed inside the 2.5” diameter post. Standard belt length is 11’ with a 13’ option, this is almost 50% longer than the industry standard 7.5’ belt. Longer belts require fewer stanchion reducing purchase cost, set up times and the storage space needed when the stanchion is not in use.
This weatherproof belt barrier has the key safety features of a brake system for slow, safe belt retraction and a lock to prevent accidental belt release. Visibility is paramount for a safety barrier to delineate restricted areas effectively. WeatherMaster 250 in three vivid color options, yellow, red and orange as well as black. OSHA defines the use of these colors as yellow for caution, red for danger and orange as warning of equipment in use.
