The QueuePro Breakaway 250 is a Premium Breakaway Belt Barrier that offers the durability of steel/stainless steel construction and a cast iron base, ideal for high traffic areas such as airports, large retail stores, stadiums, and arenas. Its sleek, contemporary design houses the belt mechanism inside the 2.5” diameter post. Standard features include a belt brake for slow, safe belt retraction, a belt lock to prevent unintended belt release, and a full circumference floor protector. This Premium Breakaway Belt Barrier can be ordered in no fewer than nine stock finishes, the standard black, polished stainless and satin stainless as well as polished and satin brass. Unique to the QueuePro breakaway 250 are the specialized finishes Statuary Bronze, Pewter Nickel, English Antique and Antique Copper. These are usually only available as custom options but having them in stock eliminates the usual minimum order quantity and greatly reduces the price.
The QueuePro’s cast iron base has a low profile design to minimize trip hazard and to give the base a refined look. The base is fitted with a decorative cover that matches the post finish and can be replaced if it gets scratched or worn. Floors are protected from scuffs and scratching by the QueuePro’s floor protector. This is a heavy duty rubber ring stretched around the circumference of the base and will last the life of the stanchion. The full circumference design provides the best floor protection of any stanchion on the market. No matter what direction the stanchion is rolled or dragged the full circumference design gives protection to expensive flooring.
This model also features a breakaway belt end. This belt end breaks away from the belt when sufficient force is applied giving you a quick and easy emergency egress option.
