RollerSafety is designed to alleviate the problem of having to move heavy stanchions by lifting and carrying them. This portable safety belt barrier has a roller set into the base so the stanchion can be easily moved by simply tilting the post onto the roller and then pushing it using the post head. Ideal for fast set up, this model is ideal where barriers are set up and taken down frequently.
The RollerSafety 250 offers the durability of steel construction and a cast iron base, ideal for work areas such as factories and warehouses. Its belt mechanism is protected by being housed inside the 2.5” diameter post. Standard features include a belt brake for slow, safe belt retraction, a belt lock to prevent unintended belt release, and a full circumference floor protector. Standard belt length is 11’with a 13’ option, this is almost 50% longer than the industry standard 7.5’ belt. Longer belts require fewer stanchions, reducing purchase cost, set up times and the storage space needed when the stanchion is not in use. This portable safety belt barrier is designed for indoor use.
A portable safety barrier like the RollerPro needs high visibility to delineate restricted areas effectively. RollerSafety is available in three vivid color options, yellow, red and orange. OSHA defines the use of these colors as yellow for caution, red for danger and orange as warning of equipment in use. These post colors can be matched with one of our 50+ belt options. These include solid colors, high visibility stripes and a range of preprinted safety messages. If none of these options meet your requirements our inhouse printing department can custom print your specific safety message, colors or logo.
A key feature that defines a portable safety barrier is its base. The SafetyPro’s cast iron base has a low profile design to minimize trip hazard and allow forklifts and pallet trucks to roll over it. The base is fitted with a steel cover that can be replaced if it gets damaged. Floors are protected from scuffs and scratching by the SafetyPro’s floor protector. This heavy duty rubber pad covers the entire underside of the base and will last the life of the stanchion.
