The twin belt design of the SafetyPro Twin 300 is a far more effective barrier for restricting access than a single belt barrier. Single belt stanchions provide a visual guide to pedestrians whereas a twin belt stanchion forms an actual barrier. This 16ft twin safety belt barrier model is recommended for higher security areas where the need to stop people ducking under the belt is particularly important.
Part of our premium SafetyPro this 16ft twin safety belt barrier was introduced for forming long safety barriers and cordons which traditionally require a large number of stanchions. The 16’ belt length on this model more than halves the number of stanchions needed with the industry standard 7.5’ belt. Fewer stanchions reduce purchase cost, set up times and the storage space needed when the stanchion is not in use.
A distinctive feature of the SafetyPro Twin is its two piece post. With the simple removal of four screws the post can be separated in the center giving access to the lower belt cassette. This enables users to replace the lower belt in the field without having to return the stanchion to the manufacturer.
SafetyPro Twin 300 has the key safety features of a brake system for slow, safe belt retraction and a lock to prevent accidental belt release. SafetyPro Triple is available in three vivid color options, yellow, red and orange. OSHA defines the use of these colors as yellow for caution, red for danger and orange as warning of equipment in use.
A key feature that defines this 16ft twin safety belt barrier as a premium model is its base. The SafetyPro’s cast iron base has a low profile design to minimize trip hazard and allow forklifts and pallet trucks to roll over it. The base is fitted with a tough ABS cover that can be replaced if it gets damaged. Floors are protected from scuffs and scratching by the SafetyPro’s rubber floor protector.
