This SafetyPro Twin 300 Removable is designed for permanent barrier layouts but where the stanchion needs to be removed from time to time. The system uses a floor socket that is set into the floor which the stanchion slides into. The removable base has the advantage of being fixed, the stanchion cannot be knocked out of alignment and takes very little floor space. However, this base type offers the flexibility of being able to remove the stanchion when needed.
The twin belt design of the SafetyPro Twin 300 is a far more effective barrier for restricting access than a single belt barrier. Single belt stanchions provide a visual guide to pedestrians whereas a twin belt stanchion forms an actual barrier. This model is recommended for higher security areas where the need to stop people ducking under the belt is particularly important.
Part of our premium SafetyPro this 16ft twin belt safety retractable barrier was introduced for forming long safety barriers and cordons which traditionally require a large number of stanchions. The 16’ belt length on this model halves the number of stanchions needed with the industry standard 7.5’ belt. Fewer stanchions reduce purchase cost and set up times.
A distinctive feature of the SafetyPro Twin is its two piece post. With the simple removal of four screws the post can be separated in the center giving access to the lower belt cassette. This enables users to replace the lower belt in the field without having to return the stanchion to the manufacturer.
SafetyPro Twin 300 Removable has the key safety features of a brake system for slow, safe belt retraction and a lock to prevent accidental belt release. SafetyPro Triple is available in three vivid color options, yellow, red and orange. OSHA defines the use of these colors as yellow for caution, red for danger and orange as warning of equipment in use.
