The triple belt design is unique to the SafetyPro range and provides the best physical barrier of any retractable belt barrier on the market. Three belts ensures that pedestrians will not duck under or climb through the belts. This model is recommended for higher security areas where the need to stop people ducking under the belt is particularly important. The SafetyPro Triple is significantly lower in cost than panels or other types of rigid barrier while its retractable feature makes it faster and easier to set up. This triple belt safety stanchion meets ADA section 4.4.1 regarding “protruding objects” as the lower belt is less than 27” from the ground which allows it to be detected by the visually impaired using a cane.
A distinctive feature of the SafetyPro Triple is its three piece post. With the simple removal of four screws the post can be separated into three parts giving access to the lower belt cassettes. This enables users to replace the lower belts in the field without having to return the stanchion to the manufacturer.
SafetyPro Triple has the key safety features of a brake system for slow, safe belt retraction and a lock to prevent accidental belt release. Visibility is paramount for a triple belt safety stanchion to delineate restricted areas effectively. SafetyPro Triple is available in three vivid color options, yellow, red and orange. OSHA defines the use of these colors as yellow for caution, red for danger and orange as warning of equipment in use.

A key feature that defines this triple belt safety stanchion as a premium model is its base. The SafetyPro’s cast iron base has a low profile design to minimize trip hazard and allow forklifts and pallet trucks to roll over it. The base is fitted with a tough ABS cover that can be replaced if it gets damaged. Floors are protected from scuffs and scratching by the SafetyPro’s floor protector. This is heavy duty rubber ring stretched around the circumference of the base and will last the life of the stanchion. No matter what direction the stanchion is rolled or dragged the full circumference design gives protection to flooring.
